Good afternoon, it is a beautiful day in the Mile Hi City, I am feeling great, GOD is Good!!  I have no pain anywhere in my body,  my teeth are great, infection is about gone, no joint pain, ready to get back into the gym and continue with the mission.  Starting Monday I will be starting my new diet to gain weight and muscle and more stamina than ever before.  I will be posting daily blogs, my mini goal is to get 1,000 visitors to my site (blog) by the end of next week.  OK people tell everyone you know about my blog,  I will be posting daily bread inserts as well as daily pick me ups, so I need your feedback everyday.  Like I said before lets take this viral and move toward 1 million visitors and get this sponsorship going, Amen!!!  The LORD has been so good to me, he has opened my eyes to so many things and so many paths, that I know that he is "REAL"!!!  Continue to pray for me and I will pray for everyone as well.  GOD bless you and remember, "Never too Late, Get it Done!!!"

Back from Pain

Good afternoon, sorry haven't been on in a while.  it's been crazy.  I had a tooth flair up on me and had to go to the dentist, my whole face and jaw swelled up.  the Dentist wants to pull three teeth, I said H*** to the No!!!  $70.00 per tooth and estimated 2 grand for root canals, needless to say I want to keep my pearly teeth.  Certain people are telling me that I need to just pull them, I would rather just wait to get the money and just have them fixed and capped-Amen, who's in agreement?  Anyhoo, I asked don't you have some meds for infection and a follow up to see how I am doing?  Strangely enough they were able to give me a perscription for anti-inflamitory and pain meds, (I normally do not take any drugs, but the pain Boss, The Pain!!!)  The swelling is going down and the pain is tollerable to a low throb, it's only been 3 days but I feel a whole lot better.  Time to get back on track with my training.  I have been slipping I know with my journey story to Cleveland last year but trust me I will eventually get to it.  Prior blogs have given everyone an idea about what and who is needed to get my web page up and running and locate sponsorers.  Right now I am in the process of working on a NIKE pilot commercial for my sponsorship to them.  I will post it when it is complete.  It is still in the writing phase and will begin filming by mid September.  I have to get copyrights and patents on certain Ideas and phrases befor launching.  I love everyone that is standing behind me on my goals and endeavers and whatever happens, the ride has been and will continue to be fun.  I will get a million hits with your help, I will get my sponsorships with your help, and I will play in the NFL with your help.  Never too late, Get it Done!

NFL Football is here

It's Wednesday and it's humpday and football is in the air.  I know that no matter what happens, GOD is still in control.  I am waiting for the opportunity to move forward with my progress.  I feel the everything is falling into place, slowly but surely.  I have seen several signs that keep me motivated toward my ultimate goal.  I am greatful to everyone that is supporting me and even those that have given me constructive critisism.  No matter what happens I know that I have the ability to achieve the object of my definite purpose in life, therefore I demand of myself persistent, continuous action toward it's attainment. II here and now promise to render such action.-Napoleon Hill rules of success.  I believe that there are forces in the Universe that are greater than anything we could ever comprehend.  Whatever man can conceive in his mind and is passionate enough about it, then he can achieve it.  I can truly say that thus far this has been a tremendous ride and it aint over yet.  I just want everyone to bear with me continue to support me and I'll see you in the NFL. Cleveland Browns #7 QB.  Never too late, get it done.

Car Issues

Glory be to GOD, HE is good all the time.  Today the Devil tried to take my Joy but I will not let him have the satisfaction.  My main form of transportation Jeep Grand Cherokee decided that it would continue to overheat, and I had to take it to the shop, so it showed out leaking water and anti-freeze all the way day gushing out.  I just thought about how and when GOD will step in and work the wonders only he can do.  The NFL preseason has officially started without me being on a team yet, but that's not because not because of anything that GOD has not done, because he is able to anything over and above anything that I or any man can ever do.  I ended up taking care of a few things along the way today, over the phone.  Still up in the air about going on cross country trip will find out later today.  I will complete my blog about my arrival in Cleveland last year sometime this weekend, I promise.  It is such an inspiring story it should have been a mini series.  I am still in the process of putting my team together see the first post.  Need a Web Master to do that.  I am pumped and fit to move forward for whatever the LORD has in store for me.  GO Browns, East Angels and Make today a good one. GOD is good all the time

Good morning, sorry about yesterday had a huge task of cleaning out and straigtening out my mothers garage in 90 degree heat and dust.  I was able to locate quite a few items I was looking for and and some things that I ran across that I need as well.  Will be gone for a few days promised a friend of mine that I would help her drive across the country with her to Florida Bethune Cookman College to get her daughter settled in there.  Shouts out to  Brehaa Johnson as she starts her freshman year, I know she will do well. Cudo's to her mother Freida Mitchell for raising such a beautifully gifted child.  Went to my sons practice this morning 6am East Angels High School, I know my sons performance will put the Varsity on notice that he is a force to be reckoned with.  Just letting everyone know what is going on and that I will continue to keep everyone updated on my status at all time. Waiting to GOD to order my steps in whatever direction his will tells me to go. "Never Too Late, Get It Done!"

Monday a Brand New Week

This is definitely a great day.  This is the day that the LORD has made let us rejoice and be glad in it.  First and foremost I have to say the LORD works in mysterious ways, that we as man cannot possibly conceive or comprehend.  I have quite a few things going on in my life at this time as I pursue my career in the NFL.  Due to the fact the I have Family and obligations that cannot be overlooked GOD has seen to it that everything still fits into his overall master plan if we just listen to HIM and follow his devine instructions.  First my son little DJ had to begin his first of voluntary 2 a days for the East High School Angles, these sessions are at 6:00 am and 5:00 pm, I usually start my workouts at 6:30 am m-f, so how was I going to do both?  Praise be to GOD that I realized that I can do much more of my workout routine at my sons school, twice a day, spend more time with my son and have access to the gym to use the free weights along with access to the coaching staff of which they want me to join.  I have left it all in GODS hands and he has delivered.  I am currently unemployed but GOD has supplied all of my needs all I have to do is to continue to trust in him and he will do what he says that he is going to do.  I was worried about my weight when I started out on this wonderful journey I weighed in at 225, I had hopes of getting up to 235, I am 6'5" so I figured the more meat the better to sustain myself in the NFL.  I now weigh 206, and was becoming worried but after talking to the coaching staff this morning, they informed me that I am at the ideal weight and have the athletic build it takes to be agile and perform at a high level in the NFL, praise GOD he knew what he was doing.  Right now I am letting GOD order my steps and having less doubt, because he is placing me exactly where I need to be to get me where he wants me to be and will provide all of the necessary things I need along the way.  All I have to do is everything that I can physically and mentally do and GOD will take care of the rest.  I will continue with my Journey later today of how I arrived in Ohio, I just wanted to express what GOD is doing in my life and letting HIM know that I am greatfull for everything that has happened to me along the way.  "Never Too Late, Get It Done!"

Busy day today

Sorry my fellow bloggers, today was one of those days.  After doing my morning walk today at 6:30 am and then a brief workout I had to pick my son up by 9 and take him over to East High School for registration. thinking that by getting there early we could beat the crowd.  Riggggght....... My son Lil DJ and mother Stella found out that due to registration requirements new students with no verifiable address (within the school district) they just got here from Houston, TX where he went last year.  Needless to say we are residing in Aurora with ties to Denver.  We had to get verification via an affidavit and have it notarized in triplicate, and they said that thry would follow up at a later date to see if the family actually lived there.  Are you serious?  By the time that was all done, the registration line was all the way down the street to City Park.  Well not that long but felt like it. Any way sorry for the delay, I have been working my tail off trying to generate traffic to my blog to move toward my goal of 1 million.  I got ten more people and four of them was me.  Lol pray for me yall. 50 year old NFL rookie quarterback part 3

I received my first confirmation from a totally unrelated source, I was talking to a friend at my church and I mentioned to him that I was starting to work out to get my body into shape for football, and out of the blue he suggested to me I should talk to a friend of his, a professional trainer by the name of Wayne Butler, (he is my trainer to this day), here is the amazing part number, number one he is not cheap, number two he is extremely busy and number three he is a source of vast knowledge that is needed to pursue pro sports.  When we talked for the first time come to find I I knew him already from back in the day,  we came to an agreement that he would do everything for me to get me ready for a tryout and he always made time for me, he believed in me.  Now here is a man that could have told me that I was too old forget about this crazy dream, he didn't.  He has gotten me with an agent and pushed me beyond anything that I have done in my entire life physically. That says a lot considering that I was in the Army for 11 1/2 years.  I have gotten my body into the best shape that it has ever been in including when I was in my 20's. My philosophy is to stay physically bigger, better and stronger than my 14 year old son so I'll always have bragging rights around the house.  more later "Never too late, get it done!"

50 year old NFL rookie quarterback part 2

To begin to understand how I arrived at the decision to pursue my new career I had a few another question for GOD,  LORD  how do I know if this is coming from you or my own selfish desires to play under the guise of being from the you?  When you ask questions like this GOD will answer in whats called a confirmation. What is unique about a confirmation is that it will always come from a legitimate source that is not connected in any way shape or form to you original request.  In other words your answer will come from a source that could not have known anything about your question to the LORD.  The beautiful thing about this is when you get your confirmation you'll know it.  I have had several confirmations to many questions along the way that I will be sharing as I get further along in my blogs about my Journey to Cleveland, OH and back to Denver.  When I received my original word from the LORD to my spirit it was revealed to me that I would play professional football in the NFL, I would play for the Cleveland Browns and I would wear the number 7. Keep in mind I have never played in the NFL only semi-pro, I have never been to Cleveland (actually had no desire to go), I had a good job making 50k+ a year, a house 2 cars and a partridge in a pear tree. Stay tuned more to come.

50 year old NFL rookie quarterback

Hello again everyone this is DJ Randolph back at you again. just starting out in the blogging business, but not in my quest to becoming a legitimate quarterback in the National Football League.  Some people might say that I'm crazy, but lets be honest you have to be a little crazy at 20, 25 or 30 to offer your body up to the football gods.  My quest began on this venture in 2009, December to be exact when I had an inspiration to attempt to go on this journey towards the NFL.  When I got this vision I assumed immediately that it was from GOD, my first thought was that I don't want to play football, if anything I'd rather play basketball and in case you haven't noticed LORD I'm 48 years old and kicking 50 in the butt.  I asked the LORD even if I considered to move toward this goal of playing in the NFL, number one I don't know anything about playing professional football, GOD said don't worry about it. Number two I'm not in any shape to play professional football, again GOD said don't worry about it, number three I live in Denver, CO and I'm sure that the Denver Bronco's have enough problems than to have to deal with training, coaching and bringing a half century old man up to speed on what to do when you have a 278 pound defensive end coming around the corner and blowing by your left guard.  Stay tuned to this blog and I will tell you more about this amazing journey and How I arrived at this place in time to write this blog.

Great Workout Today

Wednesday 3 August 2011 Just letting every know that today was a great workout day, getting prepared for setting up my website.  Still in the market for a Webmaster that is familiar with Pro Sports type sites.  I am very optimistic about my chances of success, with the right team of leadership this should be effectively accomplished.  What I hope to accomplish in the next couple of days is for exposure of this blog and website world wide.  This takes the support of everyone that comes on this site.  Tell everyone you know to come through and view what I am doing and make sure they do the same.  My goal is to go viral with 1 million followers, at that time I will approach Nike, the NFL and GNC. I am willing to do whatever it takes to make this happen.  Remember GOD is good all the time, and all the time GOD is good.  "Never too late get it done!"

Daily Bread Scripture

Mindless Prayer

Text Size: Zoom In
August 3, 2011 — by Julie Ackerman Link
Our Daily Bread Radio is hosted by Les Lamborn
As I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you nor forsake you. —Joshua 1:5
Bible in a year:
Psalms 63-65; Romans 6
Sometimes I am ashamed of my prayers. Too often I hear myself using familiar phrases that are more like mindless filler than thoughtful, intimate interaction. One phrase that annoys me, and that I think might offend God, is “Lord, be with me.” In Scripture, God has already promised not to leave me.
God made this promise to Joshua just before he led the Israelites into the Promised Land (Josh. 1:5). The author of Hebrews later claimed it for all believers: “I will never leave you nor forsake you” (13:5). In both cases, the context indicates that God’s presence has to do with giving us the power to carry out His will, not our own will, which is generally what I have in mind in my prayers.
Perhaps a better prayer would be something like this: “Lord, thank You for Your indwelling Spirit who is willing and able to direct me in the ways You want me to go. May I not take You where You don’t want to go. May I not enlist You to do my will, but humbly submit to doing Yours.”

When we are doing God’s will, He will be with us even without our asking. If we’re not doing His will, we need to ask for His forgiveness, change our course, and follow Him.

God Himself is with thee—
Thy Savior, Keeper, Friend;
And He will not forsake thee,
Nor leave thee to life’s end. —J. D. Smith

Good Morning Fellow Bloggers, as most of you already know I have been embarking on a career in the NFL as a Quarterback, GOD has truly been good to me and has blessed me beyond measure. I had the opportunity to submit workout video to the Cleveland Browns last year, unfortunately the scouting dept and coaches had enough QB's in camp, I remained in Cleveland and continued to work out and stay in contact with player personnel. I have a trainer and an agent in place. Due to the lockout I returned to Denver to continue with my training and pursuit of this vision.  While being here in Denver I have come to realize that I cant do this all by myself, I need a support team in place to handle all the aspects of my goals.  I am recruiting the necessary personnel to put into place to move forward with my pursuit of a career in the NFL.  First and foremost I have to emphasize that GOD truly has his hand in this so I know that the people that HE has designated to support me in this vision will be touched to respond.  If anyone has the professional experience in any of the following areas I am setting up my team to help me reach my goals.
1.  Marketing Expert
2.  Blogging Expert
3.  Web Design Expert
4.  Personal Trainers
5.  NFL Quarterback Coaches
6.  Professional Photographers
7.  Financial Advisers
8.  Sports Attorneys
9.  NFL Agents
10. Athletic Sponsors i.e. Gatorade, NIKE...etc

Any support from my Bloggers family will be greatly appreciated, please contact everyone you know to help support me in my goal get to the NFL.  My personal goal on the net once my page is set up is to go viral with at least 1 million supporters. Please email me at:

I will give continual updates on the progress as I get them.  Thank you in advance DJ
